RZR Buggy Tours in Eilat

High-performance side-by-side desert adventure

Quick Answer

RZR (also spelled Razor or Reizer) is a high-performance side-by-side buggy made by Polaris. Unlike an ATV where you ride astride, the RZR has proper seats, a steering wheel, safety belts, and a full roll cage — offering more stability, comfort, and confidence. At U-Drive Eilat, we offer 2-seat and 4-seat RZR models for guided desert tours in the Nahal Shlomo nature reserve.

What Is a Polaris RZR?

The Polaris RZR is a side-by-side (SxS) off-road vehicle designed for high-performance trail riding. It features bucket seats, a steering wheel, racing-style pedals, and a robust suspension system that eats up desert terrain. Unlike a quad bike (ATV) where the passenger sits behind the driver, RZR passengers sit right next to the driver — sharing the view and the excitement.

Why Choose an RZR Buggy?

More stable than an ATV — the RZR's low center of gravity and wide stance make it extremely hard to tip. More engaging than a jeep — you feel the trail, the bumps, the terrain. The Polaris RZR is the sweet spot between thrilling and safe, suitable for first-timers and experienced off-roaders alike.

2-Seat vs 4-Seat RZR

The 2-seat RZR (RZR 900 / RZR XP) is shorter and more agile — perfect for couples or solo riders who want a sportier feel. The 4-seat RZR (RZR 4 / RZR Turbo S 4) seats up to 4 passengers and is ideal for families or small groups. Both models are fully automatic and easy to drive.

RZR Buggy FAQ

Do I need a driver's license for an RZR buggy?

Yes — the driver must hold a valid Category B driver's license (standard car license). Passengers do not need a license.

How much does an RZR tour cost?

The price depends on the season, number of participants, route duration, and vehicle type. Contact us and we'll get back to you with a precise quote.

Is the RZR suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. The RZR is easier and more intuitive to drive than an ATV — it handles like a car. Our senior instructor gives a full safety briefing before every ride and leads the convoy at a comfortable pace.

What is the minimum age for RZR passengers?

Children can ride as passengers in the RZR from age 5. The 4-seat RZR is especially popular with families because kids sit securely next to their parents with seat belts.

What's the difference between RZR and ATV?

The RZR is a side-by-side buggy with proper seats, steering wheel, seat belts, and roll cage. An ATV (quad bike) is straddled like a motorcycle. RZR offers more stability and comfort; ATV offers a more raw, body-engaged ride.

What route does the RZR tour follow?

Our standard RZR tour follows the Nahal Shlomo nature reserve route — about 15 km of desert terrain with panoramic views of the Eilat Mountains and the Jordanian border. The tour takes approximately 1 hour.

Can I drive the RZR myself?

Yes — you drive your own RZR buggy following the lead guide. There is also an option to ride as a passenger while the guide drives. Self-drive is the most popular choice.

Is the RZR tour available on Shabbat?

Yes — U-Drive Eilat operates 7 days a week, including Shabbat and all holidays. Book any day of the week.
